Fun with Friends!

Kristy, Jax, and Stone came over a few weeks ago to visit.  Stone is growing fast, but is still so much smaller than Finn!  I'm sure he will catch up fast, they are just 6 weeks apart.  My best boy Jax is also growing up so fast.  We love having friends over and can't wait for next time.

New Toys!

We got Finn an exersaucer last week and it's been a huge hit!  He loves playing in it and watching the dogs from a different angle.  It's really amazing how much he has grown and changed in just the last few weeks.  He is starting to actually play with toys and is starting to laugh out loud.  Sweetest sound ever.

3 Months

Can you believe this boy is already 3 months old?!?

At 3 months, Finn is more fun than ever!  He is constantly smiling and talking to everyone, including the dogs. :)  He is loving playing on his playmat and sitting in his highchair while we cook or clean in the kitchen.  We have also been putting him in it at the table while we eat.  We want to start the habit of eating as a family as early as we can.

He is wearing size 3-6 month and 6 month clothes and just moved into a size 2 diaper this weekend.  He has been sleeping through the night pretty consisitently since he was 8 weeks.  He will occasionally wake up in the middle of the night, but a new swaddle and the pacifer puts him right back to sleep.  We try to get to bed between 8:30 and 9p and he wakes up around 6a. 

I am going back to work tomorrow and Finn starts at ACH daycare.  I know he will be fine, but please pray for me, ha!  We really haven't had any set schedule the past three months, but he basically follows the Eat, Play, Sleep pattern of most babies.  Sometimes, he will go three hours between feedings, but for the most part its every 2 to 2 1/2.  I still can't believe it, but I have pretty much exclusively breastfeed the entire time.  He will take a bottle when its offered so I'm not worried about him starving at daycare, Haha!  This boy loves to eat. 

It is hard to tell in these pictures but his eyes are super blue now.  They were really dark when he was born and we wondered if they would turn brown, but there is no way they are. I love my blue eyed boy!

Our Big Boy

We got out the bumbo on Tuesday and he loves it. He's only strong enough to last for a few minutes right now, but he is able to sit in it a little longer every day.  He's only 9 weeks in this picture, but he looks like he's 6 months.  Praying for time to slow down!

July 4th Weekend in Jonesboro

We spent the long weekend in Jonesboro with Jeff's family.  Finn gots lots of attention and was a little sad to come back home I think. :-)

                                  Finn was pretty much over having his picture taken at this point, Ha!

On the 4th we went over to Jeff's sisters house for BBQ and Fireworks.  Their neighborhood has a parade every year so we got to watch that as well. Maybe next year Finn can ride in the parade with the rest of his cousins, but this year he had to be content on the sidelines with Mom and Dad.

We had a great time and loved getting to spend so much time with family.  Finn had so much fun on the 4th that he slept through the night for the first time!
