Jeff's Birthday

Back in July we had some friends over to celebrate Jeff's birthday. This was also the first day Finn used his high chair. He sat in it just about all day while we cooked and cleaned for the party.

At the time I thought he looked so big, but he looks so tiny now.

Cameron is just a few weeks older than Finn. His Daddy and Jeff were room mates in the Sigma Chi house.

We had tried to take pictures earlier in the night with the boys, but the Dads were all "we'll get some later, stop worrying" this is the best we ended up with. haha!

There were probably 20 people there that night, but we were way to busy playing with babies and catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a while to actually take pictures.

Mimi and Papa have come to visit a few times over the last couple of months. This picture was from July so he was almost 3 months. We took probably 50 pictures that day and this was the best we got. Finn looks very serious. :)

Hot Springs with the Girls

Finn and I went to Hot Springs the first weekend in August with my college friends. It was supposed to be our annual girls trip which is usually sans the kiddos, but I just couldn't stand the thought of leaving Finn for the weekend, so my girls said he could join us. He was the center of attention for 48 hours and was just the best baby ever. I think he only actually cried once and that was because I woke him up to get him dressed for dinner and he was NOT happy about it. We started cereal about a week before Finn turned 4 months. He was a little skeptical...:-)

4 Months on August 29th.

August just flew by and before we knew it Finn was 4 months old! It was a big month for all of us, with me going back to work after being off for 14 weeks and Finn starting daycare. Finn seems to love going to "school" but Mommy and Daddy haven't faired as well, haha. I hate to admitt it, but there are still days where I cry all the way to work.

STATS:

weight-15lbs 3oz

length-26" (thats almost 4 inches in two months!)

eating habits: Still nursing at home and taking breastmilk bottles at daycare. We started cereal this month and he seems to like it ok.

sleeping habits: sleeping through the night 99% of the time.

We got Finn an exersaucer this month and he loves it. By far the best investment Jeff and I have made as far as toys go. He will sit and play in it for up to 30 minutes which is the longest he's happy anywhere other than in our arms, Haha!

Finn is wearing size 2 diapers still and 3-6 month and 6 month clothes. We just started buying some 6-9 month outfits including the one he's wearing in his pics. He also decided just about a week before he was 4 months that he didn't want to be swaddled anymore. I know he liked it for a lot longer than most babies, but I am really going to miss it. I just loved my baby burrito!

Hey There! We're Alive....

I HAVE to get better about keeping this blog up to date. Since I've been back to work I just really haven't wanted to do anything other than hang out with this sweet boy!(can you blame me?)

We have lots to fill everyone in on, but its taken all of nap time just to get pictures from the last 2 1/2 months uploaded to the computer and organized. Hoping to get his 4 month and 5 month posts up tomorrow and lots of other fun things.
