We were so excited to finally have our little guy with us on Wednesday! I had been offically discharged on Tuesday, but was allowed to stay "rooming in" until they discharged Finn on Thursday. We are so thankful to have been able to do this, I can not imagine having to go home without him. My heart aches for all the mommas who have to leave their babies, they are stronger than I can even imagine. While I wish I could just forget those six horrible days I know that they only make me appreciate my little guy more and will make me a better momma.

Longest 6 Days Ever!
Finn was born Friday, April 29, 2011 and was in the NICU until around 7p on Wednesday at which time he got to move to our room for the night. He was on oxygen, had an IV, and a feeding tube for most of this time. He got rid of the IV on Tuesday night, got off the cannula early Wednesday morning and lost the feeding tube Wednesday night. He started the billi lights for jaundice on Tuesday and come off them Thursday morning. There are so many more details to these 6 days, but really they don't matter, all that does is that Finn is healthy and we are all together now.

Finn's First Few Days
I really don't know what to say about the last four days. They have been both the best and worst of my entire life and I was in no way prepared for what would happen. I do know that if it wasn't for my incredible husband I would not have made it past the first 24 hours. As we are still in the middle of this crazy rollercoaster, I'm not ready to write about anything, so I'm going to just leave you with some pictures of our sweet baby boy.
39 Weeks and headed to the hospital for induction
Right after arrival via C-section, 8lbs 3ozs, 20 inches long

Welcome To The World, Finn Edward Sheridan!
Finn arrived via c-section on April 29, 2011! He weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 3 ounces and is 20 inches long. He is a chubby little guy with dark hair like his Momma. Unfortunately, he has some fluid in his little lungs and is having a rough time slowing his breathing down. They are keeping him in the NICU for now on oxygen and IV antibiotics, please pray for our sweet baby and the doctors and nurses taking care of him.
Momma and Daddy love you so much Finn!
(I'm not sure how to a picture on here since I'm blogging on my phone, but trust me he's gorgeous! I'll add one as soon as I get access to my laptop.)

Maternity Pics
Jeff works with a girl who is just getting into photography and offered to take some maternity pictures for us for an incredible deal. I was 34 weeks when these were taken and I thought at the time I was huge! I had no idea just how much bigger I would be in three short weeks, haha! Chasty did a fantastic job and I'm really pleased with the photos. She is also going to take Finn's newborn pictures and I can't wait to see how those turn out. Here are a couple of my favorites...

New Camera
I've been saving up since Christmas for a new camera and the one I have been eyeing went on sale last week, so Jeff and I headed to Best Buy and picked up our brand new Nikon D3100! I have never really had more than just a simple point and shoot camera so I'm a little intimidated by all the bells and whistles on this bad boy, but I've already been able to get some great shots which makes me a little more confident. I am going to try and take a class to learn more about the differenct features and am looking into what the best editing software I can afford is. Here are a couple of what I think are the better shots I've gotten so far.
