We had so much fun celebrating Sidney Claire's first birthday back in January! We decided to just have a small party at our house with friends and family and it couldn't have turned out better. Since Sidney Claire is a bear if she doesn't get her 3-4 hour afternoon nap we decided to go with a morning party at 10. We had donunts, fruit, milk, juice and cake and it was just perfect. Little Miss got so many presents and just had the best time being the center of attention. She was absolutely obsessed with the shoes her Gran and Papa Sid got her and boy did she love her cupcake.
I am still having a hard time believing my baby girl is 1. She went home from the party with Jeff's parents to spend the week and wouldn't you know she took her first steps while in Jonesboro. 6 weeks later and we are still only taking 5-6 steps a time, but we've been fighting multiple ear infections so I think that has really slowed her progress down, which is just fine with Mama and Daddy. My favorite thing in the world is when Finn will sit on the floor with his legs and arms stretched out and says "Walk to Bubba, Sissy!" and SC toddles right over to him laughing the whole way. Melts my heart, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Drinks Vanilla Flavored Soy Milk from a cup except for one nighttime bottle of soy milk. - stopped this bottle once she got back from grandparents.
Goes to sleep anywhere from 6:30p to 7:30pm depending on naps and activity from the day and usually wakes up between 7 and 8a. Has been known to sleep from 7p to 10a on occasion. Still wakes up sometimes during the night if her ears are bothering her, but usually just needs a quick hug and kiss and goes right back to sleep.

Eats like a grown man. She seriously eats more than I do most meals. She pretty much loves everything.
No interest at all in TV, iphone, ipad, etc. Which is good, because I'm not sure Finn would be down with sharing. ;-)
Plays very well by herself, but definately wants Mama or Daddy in the room with her. Especially loves her Kitchen and Little People Princess Castle
