Finn's Room is Finally Finished!!!

Back in October, I told Jeff I wanted to have Finn's room complety finished by the first of March.  That did not happen, but I'm pretty proud of us for getting it finished before April!  I had no idea how particular about his room I would end up being, but it was worth it all.  I do still want to get a small table to go beside the chair and possibly a lamp, but otherwise his room is complete and I love it!  All that's missing is Finn, hopefully he'll wait a few more weeks before joining us, but not too long...:-)



34 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Size of Baby: Finn is the size of an average cantaloupe(19 to 22 inches and 5.5lbs!)

Total Weight Gain: 35 pounds, but I'm pretty sure that the 6lb weight gain in the last two weeks is mostly water.(at least that's what I'm telling myself.)

Maternity Clothes: only a few outifts left that fit.

Gender: It's a Boy! Finn Edward Sheridan

Movement: He still moves alot but not as many kicks more nudges and rolls.

Sleep: Resigned to the fact I won't enjoy sleeping through the night for a few years.

What I miss: nothing reallly this week, just trying to focus on enjoying the rest of this pregnacy

Cravings: fresh fruit and smoothies

Symptoms: Super tired, extra sensitive, and sore

Best Moment this Week: getting a pedicure and finishing Finn's room.

33 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 33 weeks

Size of Baby: Finn is the size of a Pineapple (19 to 22 inches and 4.9lbs!)

Total Weight Gain: 29 pounds

Maternity Clothes: only a few outifts left that fit.

Gender: It's a Boy! Finn Edward Sheridan

Movement: He moves all the time, but as soon as anyone other than myself or Jeff tries to feel him he stops. 

Sleep: Resigned to the fact I won't enjoy sleeping through the night for a few years.

What I miss: nothing reallly this week, just trying to focus on enjoying the rest of this pregnacy

Cravings: Cherry Coke from Sonic

Symptoms: Super tired, extra sensitive, and sore

Best Moment this Week: getting Finn's room closer to being finished.

Finn's Shower

On Saturday, three of my best friends in the world Alicia, Amanda, and Kristy threw a baby shower for me and Finn.  So many people were able to come and I can't imagine how it could have been better.  Finn got lots and lots of cute things and it was fun visiting with everyone.  Here are some pictures from the day....

 Amanda Rhea made these letters for Finn's room.  They turned out so cute and look awesome over his changing table.

He got lots and lots of other cute things, but I don't have pictures of everything.  I am working on a post of the progress in the nursery and will most likely include some more gifts in that post.

32 weeks

 (really bad picture, but I had to take it myself since Jeff is working late tonight and I'm already 3 days late on this post.)

Size of Baby: Finn is the size of a Honeydew Mellon (19 inches and 4.5lbs!)

Total Weight Gain: 29 pounds

Maternity Clothes: had to break down and buy more.  I also ended up having to take the dress I bought two weeks ago for my shower back and exchange it for a bigger size the night before because it was too small.  Fun times!

Movement: He moves all the time, but as soon as anyone other than myself or Jeff tries to feel him he stops.

Symptoms: Super tired, extra sensitive, and sore

Best Moment this Week: My shower was Saturday and it was so awesome!  I had the best time and Finn got so many cute things.

Size of Baby: Finn is the size of 4 navel oranges (19 inches and almost 4lbs!)

Total Weight Gain: 26 pounds

Maternity Clothes: I got two new shirts and a new dress for my shower this week.  Otherwise, I'm just trying to make what I have work for now. 

Gender: It's a Boy! Finn Edward Sheridan

Movement: He moves all the time, but as soon as anyone other than myself or Jeff tries to feel him he stops. 

Sleep: sleeping better but still up at least three times a night to go to the bathroom. 

What I miss: nothing reallly this week, just trying to focus on enjoying the rest of this pregnacy

Cravings: Peanut Passion smoothie from Tropical Smoothie

Symptoms: Just really tired ALL the time.

Best Moment this Week: I think I finally found a daycare that I like and is relatively affordable.  We are still waiting to hear about whether we got into the daycare at Children's but I'm going to go ahead and sign Finn up for this one just in case.
