6 Months

It is practically impossibe to get a picture of this boy that isn't blurry.  He is contantly moving in some way.  He has changed so much this month!

I thought it would be fun to include all his monthly pics in this post so you can really see the changes.

2 Months
you can really tell that I had no idea how to work my camera those first few months, :-)  I still have lots to learn, but as least most of my pictures now are in focus, haha!

5 Months

It's so amazing to me that he has grown and changed so much in such a short amount of time.  I hope the next 6 months don't go quite as fast as the first six.
STATS:
weight: 17lbs 4oz
length: 27
Wearing size 6-12 months and size 2 shoe
Diapers: size 3
Milestones:  Finn is a great little eater and has tried and loved just about every thing with the exception of green beans.  Favorite fruit so far is a tie between peaches and mangos. I think he likes sweet potatoes and squash the best out of the veggies.
He is sitting up on his own very well and loves to play on the floor with his toys and books.  He still likes the exersaucer and jumper.  He still isn't rolling over, but I know he can, he's just not interested.  He is switching toys from hand to hand and actually searches through the pile to find the ones he likes best.

Road Trip

We went to Springfield last weekend to visit my sister and her husband.  Finn loved all the attention from his Aunt Laurie and Uncle Darin, but I think he loved the dogs more, haha!
They have 3 dogs, Dot, Roxie, and Skye.  Dot and Roxie are BIG dogs who mostly stay outside but come in at night and some during the day, but little Skye is my sisters baby. She was so curious about Finn and loved him, but we joked that she was depressed that my sister was paying attention to someone else because she would go get in her kennel whenever my sister was holding Finn. You can see her trying to get her attention in this pic.
This is Roxie, we joked that we should have a saddle made for our next visit.  We have big dogs, but they are small compared to this girl.
Trying to get a picture but Roxie thought she needed to be included.  My sister and I really look nothing alike. :-)
This picture is so blurry, but I couldn't get one of both of them sitting still.
Finn really mastered sitting up by himself this weekend
 Could he be any cuter?!

Our little Pumpkin

Since the 1st half of the Razorback game was so exciting this morning, we decided to take a little break from screaming at the TV and try out an idea I saw on Pinterest(best website ever!)
Jeff claims to have never carved a pumpkin before today, but he was pretty skilled with the knife.
Finn was a little confused by what was going on.
Aren't our porch decorations so cute!?!

We had a hard time finding a pumpkin big enough to fit him in but we finally found one at Whole Foods, thanks to a tip from some of Jeff's co-workers.
Finn was hamming it up this morning and we got so many cute pictures.  Here are some of our favorites...

love it when he sticks that little tongue out!  probably won't be nearly as cute in a few years, haha!

Pretty sure this is my favorite.  I'm going to have it blown up and framed to hang somewhere in the house.

World Series Baby!!

Just a few pics of our cute Cardinal Fan!

I can't wait to see pictures of these two in their Cardinal gear for the next 50 years!

Farmers Market

We have loved going to the Farmers Market the last several weekends.  I'm sad there are only a few left and with our busy schedules I think we are only going to make one more before it closes until April.  I have been making all of Finn's baby food and I really enjoyed getting it from local farmers. After we hit the booths we usually take a short walk down by the river, it was pretty chilly this particular morning so we had an excuse to bust out this super cute hat!

this pic makes my heart melt!
